They can come in many sizes. Smallest 1920x1xxx monitor I've seen is 22", but they can go all the way up to 75" (HD TVs). Typical computer monitor size for 1920x1xxx is around 24" (or 60.96cm). All measurements are diagonal.
The 1920x1080/1920x1200 is just a resolution. Technically, it has no bearing at all on how big the screen is physically except that we can only fit so many transistors in a given size, which is why the smallest monitors in that resolution tend to be bigger than the smallest monitors of lower resolutions. What the resolution means is is that you have x amount of horizontal pixels (1920) times y amount of vertical pixels (1080/1200).
