Whether you love or hate it you got to admit its one bad-ass aircraft :lol:

Any way this aircraft, the 'Fairey O.21/44' that never made it off the drawing broad is like the dad of the 'Fairey Gannet' as a lot of the engineers who worked on the 'O.21/44' went on to work on the 'Gannet'
Some info on the project'Fairey O.21/44 Strike Fighter Concept 1944' and photo taken from a book I have 'British Secret Projects Fighters & Bombers 1935 - 1950'

any one know what was the maximum take off roll max all up weight (no catapult assist) land based runway
did it carry mk44 torpedoes or which models/mark of what weapons did it carry a/s torpedoes depth charges

Even though I compared it to a large marine mammal, I wouldn't mind having it either.
