Hello Agracier I also use use UP 2 so don't have a ship pack in my MODS folder so I added the folder GunBoat_Steamer to my MODS folder and then added the necessary text to the normal CHIEF.ini and SHIPS.ini, rather than the SHIPPACK section of these files, even if that wasn't the install lacota intended it certainly worked for me.
I had previously downloaded Shippack 2 and tried that route but it crashed at 70%. :?

I've tried a number of permutations and get 70% ctd ... but this one you suggest is a new one I haven't tried yet ... I'll give it a try and cross my fingers ... thanks

Hello Agracier, no I haven't actually added those files but as you see the way I did it works fine for me.
These shots have just been taken in sim this morning.
I added the necessary text to the end of each relevant section in the CHIEF.ini and SHIPS.ini.

It would appear from what lacota wrote that these were intended to go in the Ship pack, with the text applied to that section of each .ini, but as I said it crashed when I installed it. The way I've installed it obviously works ok for me so
give it a go and see what happens for you. :wink:

Yes, this works, Mission_bug's solution is the way to go ...
I added the 5 files above from Shippack2 and followed Mission_bug's suggestions ... all OK now.

Hello lacota, both these lovely ships are now added to my static ships. This adding ships
thingy is a bit new to me I'm afraid, I'm usually used to adding new aircraft. :roll:
Both anchored off a rather incomplete Saigon City, I will finish it one day, honest. :wink:
Love the skin, superb job. Could do with a French flag though for my map.

As far as your modding is concerned it is first class in my oppinion, you can't possibly make
your mod fit all the Mod packs there are. Individuals will always have to try and adopt the
the mod for their individual set up.

Guys, I added two more in the archives of the steamer. And little has changed power of main weapon of the first gunboats. So I'm sorry, but those who have already tried these ships, I recommend them to rewrite the description in the file Ship.ini.
