Because....
1 - It never saw active service with any air force at all
The prototype did encounter a Mosquito PR aircraft in Sept 1944, at 29000ft over Nurnberg.
It was escorted by 2 Me262 - ref Mosquito, MW Bowman, 2008 (p62)

No

Of course the Me262 had no trouble catching the Mosquito but the Mossie escaped by making evasive turns until one by one the 262's retired, presumably due to fuel shortage. Nevertheless the Mossie was still a bit shot up and still had to complete the flight to Italy across the Alps. Since they had failure of the oxygen system high altitude was out of the question so they flew at low level through the Brenner Pass, a foreboding place at the best of times. Must have been a nail biting trip.

The He280 was cancelled by the order of the RLM on 27th March 1943. Ernst Heinkel was refused permission to continue development of the project and told to focus on bomber development instead. The 280 wasn't flying in 1944. Does Bowman refer to which protoype?
** Apology **
I do apologise - I've just uncovered references to a test flight made on the 29th September 1944 with a vee tail prototype, and pulse jet versions were carried under bombers during the same period, presumably dropped for free flight at some point though that isn't specifically mentioned.
