Hi, yes I am very happy with the overall result . Some of this is resulted from your excellent tutorial. There are just those two weird things. OH BTW the flashes are back. Not as intense, I will try to capture them. But since they are still Pics, it may not be practical. Is there a way it booted a different config.ini.

I get this "reflection" when I use 8xS Antialiasing in my VC's setup.

Use another type of AA to get rid of it.

Hi thanx for your suggestion. I tried all the AA options available to the NVidia control panel and the NHancer, No Dice. Still there, It's not a huge problem just more on an annoyance than anything else.

Make sure that you have the correct driver for your graphics card. Here is the link to the NVIDIA driver downloads. You should use the automatic detection method:

Re: Flashes in all smoke - katdog5 - 20.11.2010

Just had this issue with a new 460 GTX SLI setup. Smoke flickering/flashing. Tweaked all sorts of entries in the conf.ini and nothing helped. (effects=1)

The solution (for me) appears to be use SLI rendering mode "Single GPU". Im getting much better frame rates too...go figure

EDIT 11/21: After a day of tweaking and testing it went away for some reason, but not sure why. Back with SLI

EDIT 11/26: After a week of testing it all went to hell again...back to forcing single; the other "solution" was windowed mode; but cant play that
