Well, read the readme, found inside the A/C's .rar file...:

Gerd'F8F-2 X'mas Alpha Version

This MOD is Alpha Virsion.
And,there are some limitations.

-No damege efect.
-No LOD.
-Don't use special Flight Model(use SeaFuryMkI orF4U-C Flight Model).
-Skin is not formal version.
-3D model is not formal version.
-etc...

However, it plays and enjoy it, please

Requirements... You need AAA's mod environment(mod activator and UI) or HSFX for F8F-2's to work.

Put F8F-2's folder into MODs folder(Please make it if there is no MOD folder).
And then make a back up copy of air.ini and add following lines.

case AAA:
MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\air.ini

case HSFX:
Files\com\maddox\il2\objects\air.ini

F8F-2 air.F8F2 1 usa01 DESERT

======uninstall=====
Delete these lines.
And then delete F8F-2's folder in MOD folder.
