Re: Cliffs of Dover U.S. Release - *Steppenwolf* - 22.07.2011

Hey, guys. Could you please tell us what kind of FPS you're getting, and on what type of systems/settings?
Yeah, and Diezt...awesome paintings!
Thanks.

My frames are very smooth so far with no other planes in the sky. I cant get fraps working yet, so I dont know exactly. Ill have to try a rollback. From what Ive been reading, high settings across the board are out of the question for now, even for super computers

Here are my settings that I am very pleased with

Model Detail: High
Building Detail: Medium/Low
Land Detail: High
Forest: Low/VeryLow
Visual Effects: High
Texture Quality: Medium

Damage Decals: High
Building Amount: Low
Land Shading : Low

Grass, Shadows and Roads checked

2x AA

460GTX - (SLI not set up yet..although I read its possible)
My specs:
Quote:Windows 7
Memory (RAM): 8169 MB
CPU Info: Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz
Display Adapters: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 | RDPDD Chained
Screen Resolution: 1920 X 1200 - 32 bit
CD / DVD Drives: D: HL-DT-STDVDRAM GH24LS50
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8P67 PRO

Re: Cliffs of Dover U.S. Release - Dietz - 24.07.2011

No luck with personel yet - perhaps its a better setting in "Video " options...I have them turned down for better FPS & r"Roads" turned off completely.I 've noticed that this means I have no track beds of the rail roads so trains float in air- maybe it effects other things as well? Maybe I 'll have to wait for a new graphics card down the road?
Too bad ,I'd really like to see who drives this:

I wish Oleg & his crew would have included a '39 BMW318 for the Luftwaffe Fliegers to drive!

Its a setting on your conf humans=1; defaults to zero

Quote:To see the Persons on the ground you have to edit your confs.ini - the one in your "C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" folder - not the one in your game folder.

and insert this:

[BOB]
difficulty=9..
[sound]
SoundUse=0
speakers=-1
[core]
SpawnHumans=1
...
...

than you've got humans.

Re: Cliffs of Dover U.S. Release - katdog5 - 24.07.2011

Ok. I found an old version of fraps that works with the game 3.1.2

Here are some benchmarks as I flew over Kent: 36/38fps...not too bad

Land Detail Med
3700 96598 23 49 38.303

Land Detail High
3082 84160 25 51 36.621

**When I moved Forest up to Low from Very Low:
