My load screens for my PTO and ETO loads, I also have a desert load.

Ive dwnld so many fabulous screenshots over the years, I wish I could remember whom these are from, anyhow if you recognize any, my credit to you and your wonderful work. Here Ive taken the wallpaper form windows and placed this excellent A/C with some added light reflextion. The other as is. Thanks. Wingflyr

Copy paste method didn't work this time.

Background.tga saved as 24 bit now loads.

They are already converted to the TGA format

Well, this is my humble contribution to enhance IL-2.

Is not an MOD, but I think it is much better that ugly backgrounds of IL-2 Wink .

To use these backgrounds, just to decompress the file,
And rename the name of the background, for example background001 as background, and finally, putting every background, in the corresponding folder.


For example, C: \ Program Files \ Ubisoft \ IL2 1946 \ Missions \ Campaign \ DE, to change the backgroun of the German campaigns

Hey Wingflyr, I love that second picture (Panther and Fws), I've put it as my desktop background. Do you, perhaps, have more pictures like that?
