I would have thought that considering the landing gear between the two, that the 190 would have been the better for those sort of ops eh
But then again... The Bf-109T had undercarrage modification - making it wider... but even then, the gear was always sighted as the biggest flaw with the wee 109...
What would have been better would be a aircraft designed from the get-go for carrier ops... like the US did...

How about the 262T?
- Headnut - 20.04.2009
I don't know but I think the 262 need a very long way to start without burning engine, i think it is to long for a carrier or not??

With the catapult mod I've been hearing about, it would be fine.

You can use the normal Go 229 for carrier, this aircraft is working with short start and landing...

i don't know only 2 offline mission i fly the Go 229 but isn't right that the engine's will be burning if you give them power befor you take off ? i mean on carrier you give much power when you stand before you can take off or not?

I have tested some planes, for carrier-action - and the Go 229 can take off and landing on a carrier. Only full speed and then released the brakes - The stall-speed of the Go229 is very low, too. So you can land on a carrier.
(But I know,... this isn`t historical correct - and the Horten Brothers never planed a carrier-based Go-229 with hook or so...)
I am looking forward, to see a Bf 109 Toni and a Ju 87 C at `46. But what we need is a german carrier mod.
The Fi 167 is an interesting airplane, too. I hope someone moded this in future, too. The Fi 167 was a Recci, Torpedo and Attack (lightbomber) aircraft. German name was "Mehrzweckflugzeug"

Only if you give to fast speed. Did you use the throttle slowly, it is still running- without problems.
