Gaston, mon ami; I have found a thread in the Discussion Section, where someone asks for installation instructions for your mod....he says they are not included in the zip....

question. - =JFC=BlackJack - 05.10.2008

when i download the file its ziped , where do i unzip it?

- Gaston - 05.10.2008

Installation :

-unzip in a temporary folder. It will create a new folder called MODS (I made this mod thinking about all the peoples
using the JSGME, Generic Mod Enabler); of course, you MUST have installed the last wrapper.dll file;
-if you are a JSGME, just copy-paste the MODS folder into the root of your game, et voil

Need help starting a new campaign folder.. - LeutSteiger - 10.10.2008

So far the mod is perfect more squads and nations v4 is an awesome idea, however when I recently tried adding the Swiss1940 campaign into a seperate folder, well the name of the nation showed up in the game but the campaign didn't

Same for the Greek Odyssey part 1 campaign under a greek air force folder.

Please can someone help me out, so far nothing but the nation's name shows up, no campaigns.

- vampire_pilot - 11.10.2008

you need the folder, and the campaign subfolder inside. plus the ranks files, the awards files and so on. I have done it with the greek campaign and it works fine.

maybe if yu have no ranks file the game doesn't know what to show at all in the campaign selection... do you have these files in place?

are you sure you have the folder placed under campaign and not under single?

- Gaston - 11.10.2008

I did the same as vampire_pilot to create a Swiss campaign folder : I used the French medals, added swiss ranks, backgroung, insignia, etc... and it works just fine !!!

You should try to do the same with the reverted nations like Romania, etc, or the blue sided USA or GB... it will work !!!

- Carnagexxx - 11.10.2008

some solution for the missing nation insignas ?

- vampire_pilot - 11.10.2008

you can build them yourself, it is just a bmp, same goes for awards tga files... search the web for pics of your desired nations awards and you can build anything you want.

- LeutSteiger - 12.10.2008

What about nation emblems or icons that show when you pick your country?? How do you design those?

- Serval - 13.11.2008

You can add the insignia in the Regiments folder and add a text file without .txt extention which holds the properties.
See the readme/documentation files in the game root and other files for examples.
It is a feature which was allready in the game from the start.

- vampire_pilot - 13.11.2008

sorry, not completely true, this works for Squadron insignia only.
Did you confuse these?

No new nation insignia can be added that way.
No mod can do this today. only prepainted skins can bare a new nations insignia AFAIK.

- Serval - 14.11.2008

Yes, due to the word emblem I thought he meant those.
