Please stay at the A series sirs. The F and G series are the logical next step. But first we must create a historical A series. A lot of 3D parts and FM have to be done.

I got historical data regarding to the 1.65 ata in mid 1943 (thanks  )

i have the czech JaPo "Fw190 F,G" issue if you need help with those at a later date Smile

Love this.
Joe Baugher says many A-9 received Ta-152 tail, like to see that option with an adjusted FM to suit.
Always been disappointed I don't have individual weapon selection for the A series like I've read pretty much in any and every publication about them.
Panzerblitz are definitely missing, as are the wire guided missiles extensively tested on the type.

Would also generally just love seriously historical FM for all the axis aircraft. Can't help feeling the sim is really designed for allied vs axis gaming and kinda geared that way, with the villains at a slight disadvantage. If you want to play axis, it'll do it but you're going to lose. Thing is it was leadership which sabotaged the axis, not technology.

I had a question belonging to the ammo counter of the later A-series in the [WIP] section of the early A series.

Hi Imp (Zdar!)

First of all we need to know, if there are some differeces between "czech" and german jabo series. If not, we can make a different skin for the czech jabos like in the Bf109 Emil and later in the G series.

Regarding to this it whould be usefull to have some fotos of those birds.

Take a look here: http://rafiger.de/Homepage/FBMuseum/Info-LOC/Info-Fw-190F8-Gallery.htm

@ Slow: Wow, hot stuff, is that the X4?

- _1SMV_Gitano - 18.10.2008

Hi Waggel, I think Imp refers to the JaPo Publishing's book (written in czech) named "FW 190 F,G"

authors are Ales Janda and Tomas Poruba. To my knowledge, they are well accredited authors but cannot confirm this at 100%.

By the way, if you need any help for the A3, just let me know...

- Imp - 18.10.2008

what gitano said Smile to make matters worse, i have zero knowledge of the czech language but it does have all the tables and drawings with english text and english captions, just the actual text is in czech (which might be useful :winkSmile but even with just the english bit it could provide some data like topspeeds of the F and G series (and their subtypes) at certain altitutes and the possible/probably/sensible loadouts.

makes alot of sense btw if the MG17/MG131 were only neglected with the A-6 and onwards but then "reintroduced" on the ammo counter with the D-9. i can see how oleg might've gotten confused there Smile

The 3D department is already working their magic. Smile

At the moment it is in my mind to go into detail with the mid war 190. The B-24 and B-17 now are flyable bombers. Even the B25 is, flow in a big wing, very toxic in her defense armament. Zorin, me and a squad mate where ordered to a bombraid where we had to attack a well escorted big bomber wing. I wished I had much more gun power to attack those big friends.

The A5U7/U11 and the A6R2/R3 are a very good answer to those flying giants. The A5/U12 is also very nice and a bomber killer.

Like with the mk 108 in the A-8 most pilots will try to attack fighters with the new guns. This whould be very childish. I ever used 108 in combat against fighters. But now, whe you see the big 4 mots inn formation, the mk 108 is like gold.
