Wow Guys,
very nice Teamwork here !!
I have downloaded this beautiful Plane... and I'm happy like a Child
Sure ... some glitches ... but I love it !!!
Would be interessting, if it (maybe) become a new slot, with FM characteristics it will have?
It's a bit bigger than Me110/210/410 and smaller than Ju88... so it seems difficult to set it right, I guess.
Had this bird ever a BombBay?
Very good Job so far, I'm deeply impressed, masters !!

I think that antennas with 45deg are more proper...

Wow my baby is growing up before my very eyes. Makes me so proud...

Now this is a wicked and mean plane to fly. Looks like death incarnate flying over the battlefield. A great addition to Sturmovik for which much thanks.
A small question though - apparently it can take on bomb loads, but I am having trouble dropping them. Even when using the 'open bomb bay' key, nothing happens. So I was wondering if there is some kind of conflict anywhere or if the HS-129 is loading bombs meant only for the Do-335, but which it can't use.

Just tested and I can say "I love it!!!"
I really love the He219 and all the other night fighters.
The He219 was born like a pure night fighter and with the DB603 engine was one of the fastest
2 engines aircraft of the WWII.
Was the best night fighter, heavily armed and very advanced but too expensive and only few were produced.
It never had a bomb bay.
It used FuG212 or FuG220 radar and some version have the scraege musik.

Yes it still uses the Do-335 weapons profile, but there's nowhere on the model for the bombs to go so they won't show up. The real life He-219 didn't carry bombs (at least not once it became a dedicated nightfighter), although I believe it had mounts for drop-tanks.

This is really really cool. well done CY6. I was very impressed when it first loaded up, especially considering it's a WIP model I think you've done brilliantly well. Looking forward to seeing further development, like correction of the canopy glare.

I don't think I can take a swing at making a skin for this, but if anyone is interested, here is a link to a scan of 5 different Hs 219 aircraft profiles in color.

I like it - great effort. It's certainly the nearest we'll get to a He 219 for months, if not years. The beauty of these 'Frankenplanes' is that they offer new experiences very quickly: we can fly mission profiles for a He 219 now, rather than die of old age waiting for someone to produce the perfect 3D model.
I miss the schr

This is really sooooo close...it resembles something I might draw while at a lecture class near the edge of my notes....This is a cobbled masterpiece!
