Actually, I found them recently. They are identical files, but they go into separate folders.. here is what your current ones are:
MODS/3DO/Effects/GunfireDay...etc
for these to be applied to nighttime missions, simply create this identical folder
MODS/3DO/Effects/Gunfire...etc

AD, NICE FIND!!! Your next mission, if you decide to accept it: find whatever causes the yellow reflections on the plane when firing guns.
Maybe one day :lol: I found this by accident anyways. :lol:
The only thing I think I am still missing are some .eff files or something, because something has to be controlling the over-sized flashes that we see at night. I was wondering if these could be reduced a bit?
I wouldn't know if I found them anyways because I have absolutely no idea how to edit .eff files.

Very nice, just test flew a corsair and normal frames for normal gun fire with it.
