It would also be nice for someone to make a slot for a PBY with wheels and torps.

It seems that someone is already working there, but a new version.

That's BS. The animations isn't any problem. Assigning the floats to brand new key command isn't any problem. All the same problems that i described in PBY thread remains with this plane.

Float doesn't magically act like a float just because it's modelled like one. And the wheels for every plane are just decorations. Rip off the wheels and the plane works perfectly like nothing has happened. Functionality is in the invisible hooks that are attached to wheel struts and these cannot exist in two places at the same time. And that's just a small part of the whole problem.

Well, thank you for clarifying that. You're totally right about it, but that's the only possible problem that could cause more work. But as we can see, it's all solvable

Good to hear that!

It was a very nice plane and it served in the argentinean Armada (Navy) from 1946 to 1958. I hope this website helps out the modder even when the model looks finished http://www.histarmar.com.ar/Armada%20Argentina/AviacionNaval/REC-AT-GrummanJ2F56.htm it has pictures of the rear and front cabin. When its finished maybe someone could skin it for me and make it look like this:

It would be nice to find out where did it served during the war and if it got any air to air victories or any type of confirmed kills, like ships, subs or any kind of vehicle.

Im hoping some skinner shows up and skin an Argentinean Armada (Navy) Duck for me.

Cheers!

Well, according to the 1971 film 'Murphy's War' a Grumman Duck was used to drop Molotov cocktails on a German submarine in Venezuela :wink:

Some terrific air-to-air shots in this sequence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2Ta85RIWN0
