Any luck with the new map yet?

Flying_H have you been able to sort this out yet? I'm sure there's people who had the same, how did it go? :???:

I am currently working on an update for this campaign, using the 1.2 UI.
For example, the Bf110C-1 is now available. Still not entirely accurate for Poland but close enough to warrant a re- work
.
Along these lines there are more "new" subtypes available for the MTO/ desert missions which do look different from other aircraft. That also goes for some allied aircraft.
All in all reason enough to make an update. Mind you, that might take a month or 2

Good morning!
Did you finish work with update for this campaign, using the 1.2 UI?

I have modified 24 out of 50 missions so far. It wll take me at least 4 more weeks to finish.
Meanwhile I have gone one step further and I started using the HSFX mod, because that has the Bf110 subtype C-1, C-7, D-3, E-1 and F-2.
Unfortunately this is rather troublesome, for instance because the skin subfolders are missing from HSFX4.0
So, when I overcome these glitches it's still a lot of work but I will finish it for sure. 8)

Due to the fact that my real life is a bit complicated and too full of obligations at the moment, this will take far more time than I expected. Progress is slow. I will finish it, though... just don't know when.

were am I going wrong? - chair1 - 21.05.2010
Like mr. holmes in a previous post I too am unable to fly campaign. I find about (?) four versions of a campaign with Murmansk in the name listed in the German career menu but when I select one the Map and the mission description is blank??? I think I have campaign and patch installed but some how I messed up. When installing file I unzipped ,copied and pasted.?????
- 1.JaVA_Sjonnie - 21.05.2010
Copy- paste will only work if you have the exact subfolder name (which needs to be spelled correctly - case sensitive!!).
Wat you need to see when selecting the campaign is:
* Murmansk to Morocco, FOR ULTRAPACK 2.0n (or HSFX4.1)
if you don't see that, you made a mistake somewhere.
Basically, just put the campaign file in C: and tell your winzip or winrar or whatever to "unpack here" or "extract to here".
That puts everything where it ought to be.
If you do the same with the patch, you should be good to go.
The read- me file is included in the zipfile; that includes detailed instructions. After unzipping the read-me will be in your main IL-2 directory.
Thanks for the replys ...I'M sure glad I ask!!!! Thanks - chair1 - 21.05.2010
tonight I'll try again.....the fact that I had to put the "unzipped" file in the drive that the game was on had gone over my head......Thanks

What I mean is you put the zipped file in c: and only then should it be extracted.
