Please, please, the Fury!
But a pzl-23 would be fun just for the looks of it...

PorcoRosso Wrote:The Fury, didn't even have to think about it. This being said, there is one other particulat Hawker design that I think deserves more attention before moving on to exotic and fantasy designs or pre-war/post-war types.
I'll give you a hint : It carries 4 20mm guns and rockets, has a Napier engine and was very extensively used by the RAF on the Western front from 1942 to the end of the war in a wide variety of roles. It was instrumental in tipping the balance in favour of the allies during the fierce battles in the Normandy bocage in the Summer of 1944...
I don't believe any of the planes mentionned in the list above can boast such an impressive resume or be quite as useful in half as many scenarios/missions

Talking about the Hawker Typhoon?

I get your point but I am not intending to model an aircraft that had a major impact, most of these have been or are being done. I just hope to add some neglected aircraft.
Also, although IL2 was released as a WWII sim, the efforts of AAA have opened up the possibility of expanding this. Now we are looking at a time span of 40 years plus from WWI to Korea and that to me is a very exciting expansion of the sim.

Hello,
I'm voting for the Reggiane. Aside from being a P-35 hack, The Re.2000 would be great for the Hungarians and is the jumping off point for the Re.2001, Re.2002 and Re.2005 (The most beautiful fighter ever built IMHO). Wings, fuselage and cockpit cocmponents could transfer between these types.
Cheers,

Swedish J20 (reggiane Re 2000)
Most important is that u do a plane that u feel for, Not just becoz people requesting it.
- American - 26.02.2009
I vote Sword fish! It is a very needed plane that no one has ever tried making. I think almost every one would like a sword fish..
- Loht773 - 26.02.2009
But the Swordfish is not on the request.......
The Reggiane 2000 IS on the request!
Vote for it!
Reggiane! Reggiane! Reggiane!
- AKA_Mountain - 26.02.2009
Well, I selected the Re-2000........It's Italian......It's sexy......And I like it!
highlander, I'm not familiar with your previous aircraft mods (even though I probably fly them). What have you already completed?
- Loht773 - 26.02.2009
Whats wrong with trying to get what you (and 27 other people) want?
Reggiane Reggiane Reggiane!

Well, some may find it quite annoying if someone is posting the same thing over and over again...

If i steped on toes im sorry..
I guess there are quite alot of different planes that accually flew more or less in the ww2 that havent been modeled or are being modeled.
And i wasnt accually pointing that a plane hade to have had a major impact on the war but have some at least and also flown in it in more than a few times before found to obselete or for other reasons not wurthy taking place in the war in any matter.
Look at the Fairey Swordfish. its been talked about making it but has it shown up yet ???No.
and this is truly an neglect!!!
The Fairey Swordfish was a torpedo bomber built by the Fairey Aviation Company and used by the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy during World War II. Affectionately known as the Stringbag by its crews, it was outdated by 1939, but achieved some spectacular successes during the war, notably the destruction of the Regia Marina (the Italian Navy) in the Battle of Taranto and the famous crippling of the Bismarck. It was operated primarily as a fleet attack aircraft, however, during its later years it was also used as an anti-submarine and training craft. Designed in the 1930s, the Swordfish outlived several types intended to replace it and remained in frontline service through to the end of the war in Europe in 1945.Number built about 2,400
My answer was also based on the statments of others here about making something else then wannabe, fictional and so on planes.
And that goes to the ww1 and to the korea. are plains that are built inbetween and before the wars but had no deal of the wars to be incorperated?? if so we are back to fantasy and wannabe plains all over again... would be nice to se a bell x-1 flying over korea!
And as you see i woted for the Skua as it had a role in the ww2 even a little one as it was soon taken out due to being obselete.
But in the end its your desition to make the plaine and you make whatever you want, but i want to keep my right to be allowed to say and think what i want as long as its inline even if someone feels hes or shes toes are getting sore!

[quote="VF101hawk"]All of the planes mentioned where built in under 300 examples.
Reggiane Re.2000 :
The aircraft was much more prominent in the Hungarian and Swedish air forces. In fact, 80 percent of Re.2000 production went to these two countries.
The Re.2000 Serie I also served in Hungary as the H

The Vampire is another one which is in the RAF 662'nd stable, and nearing completion.... So - its already taken, already being built....
- highlander_262 - 27.02.2009
Magpie - Great to hear that a Vampire is coming. Love that plane
Hawk - No toes stepped on, was just giving my opinion just as you did.
Mountain - I'm new to modding. No aircraft in sim yet but working on the Hornet F.1 and I'm really finding out how hard these guys work to produce what they do
