And here it is my proof.
Ironically it isn't very good against buildings but it might affect many vehicles with a blast of this radius.
Oh and btw, its range is fabulous (in 1st pic you can see a very small line of a river, the village is next to it, just to give you an idea)

It's listed under armor instead of artillery in FMB. Maybe that's why it's hard to find. As BF-109 F4 said, doesn't do anything to buildings. Kinda a shame, that would be cool. A 2,800 lb to 4,800 lb shell should blow the crap of of stuff. A 250 bomb does more building damage in game. Amway, fun to watch it fire.
Interesting clip. HG! I saw a History Chanel special on the Gustav Guns. It was a great show. Hitler could have bought a bunch of Bf 109s with the money it cost for the second gun. For the manpower/money they used, not much damage or use seemed to have been inflected with them.

Thank you for all your helpful replies. That's what I love about this site, sometimes a discussion on one topic leads to answers for another.
Impressive pictures, Bf-109 F-4. I have to admit, as Dorkfish pointed out, I didn't look under "armor," only under "artillery." Is the Karl mortar under "armor" because it has tracks? Perhaps Oleg saw it as the Sturmtiger's big brother?
I will try to set up a mission to see whether I can get the Karl to work in my version of the game.
By the way, Holy Grail, were you serious when you wrote that you are not good with the FMB? Hard to believe, since you seem to be doing quite alright with mods.
Regards all,
RB

I don't understand why the Karl Gerat is only in the armor list. All other tanks are in the artillery except this beast. After all it should be considered more as artillery than armor. It's an artillery piece, not something that you would put in the middle of the battlefield.

Wow !! I am speechless , everything you ever wanted to know you can find right here at AAA thanks
to such an amazing community of enthusiasts who just like me want to find answers to many
mysterious things that some may even see for the first time ever .
I heard of such huge gun thingy once before but I never saw it in live action footage before , ever.
@ BF-109 F4 ,
what a nice screenshots , unbelievable to see it now in game well and alive !!
Thank you for posting these !
@ dorkfish ,
absolutely marvelous short video !!
, I almost stopped breathing waiting for the shell to explode
just to find out it have assigned by game default that smaller 250-500bomb effect explosion
I was expecting the whole village to be gone wiped out clean
Thank you for taking time and making short example video also for others to see how it looks in action !
@ bohr-r ,
yeah , AAA became for me the only remaining forum I am interested in as very much whatever I need to
know I can find it here or ask anyway , so it is saving me time not having to looking for answers someplace else
Here is my confession , I am somewhat dumb when it comes to FMB , I never got much my hands on it
and I don't have patience to play with it as some of the community members over at Ubizoo were producing
so many wonderful campaigns and missions as well as here at AAA , that I am not using
and trying FMB anymore .
Potenz is good with FMB , not me

Oh That is nothing new to me. I have those in my yard. In the front of the house I
have a Goliath mini-tank. If anyone parks their car in my spot , I blow them up!
Then in the backyard, I have a Dora 90mm super-gun.
