ho3 cannon - kashiide - 06.10.2009
picked up some other infos:
"Yoji Watanabe's book (revised paperback published from Asahi Sonorama in 1989). Watanabe is an aviation historian and what is written is not his personal account, but a result of interviews from many war veterans.
The 20mm cannon described to have only 127rpm is the Ho-3. This cannon was based on the Hotchkis anti-aricraft cannon. However, the Ho3 is described to have a firng rate of 400 rpm in the "Ki number catalog" pubication published by Bunrindo (the Koku Fan people) in 1997. "
other source tails about 300rpm but the majority is according to say its 400rpm

from IL2 Modeling Bible:
Quote:Compete D0_00 Model - This is what is generally referred to as the "final model", though in reality a competely finished model can be thought of as twenty-two seperate models, plus associated small parts. This is the source from which all other models will spring. It is the full-poly-count, undamaged, close-range (0-25m) "perfect" model of an aircraft. Its completion is really only about 25% of the overall modeling process. The model is constructed in Metric measurement at 1/2 scale, 50% of the original aircraft's actual size. The most efficient means of construction is simply building the D0_00 model at 1:1 scale and then scaling it down 50% when construction is finished. Polygon limit is ~3500 for a single aircraft, and ~5000 for a twin-engined aircraft or bomber.

POLYCOUNT - kashiide - 10.10.2009
thx mate!!
i though the rules where different now...
the bible dates from 2003 2005?
anyway,going on simplifying...
- asheshouse - 10.10.2009
For a twin engine aircraft 5600 polys sounds fine to me, especially if the extra polys are used well to add detail and not wasted. Like you said PC's can handle higher polys now and 5600 is not much greater than the old twin engine recommendation of 5000.

Trailing edge of the wings looks too thick in the image.
It should come to a sharp edge.
trailing edge - kashiide - 28.10.2009
mmhh...
i think it s more because of the enlightment ...
-i checked the edges.
-ive done the constructing line on the wing s skin and its regular to zero.
will post pics of the skined wings and more part....
