For all practical purrposes there are only 2 Korean F86 "models" Those with leading edge slats and those with the 6-3 hard wing (or the conversion) 99% of the differences in models was in performance not major 3D changes other than the slats.

I'm not sure if that first picture of the Sabre trying to pull lead on the Mig climbing away is helping me or hurting me PeterD.. that looks SO damn good its scary Smile

I know, but I would like to have the various performance models... I am first and foremost a lover of aviation. The whole warbird thing comes second...

The flame certainly looks better than that big orange thing that was there. Being from the YP-80 and all; now it looks like an engine with bite. Glad to see that landing/taxi lights working too.

F-86A, and yes I plan to Smile

We need an X'1, since we have no idea what the Il-2 engine will do with supersonic speeds jejeje..

I wonder if its possible to make a mod to allow us to fly over 700mph. as is, they explode at like 699mph. Anyone know?

- BH_Blue - 05.07.2009

I hope Peter you make it to the F-86 E/F they were quite improved models.

- sturmo321 - 05.07.2009

The E/F's would be nice. but im just happy there's a Sabre coming at all. This is probably my most anticipated plane yet! Take your time PeterD, it looks like your doing an excelent job. Tongue

I couldnt agree more Big Grin

Keep in mind that the F86 had very few external changes between the A-E-F series AC. The performance was quite a bit different due to the powerplant changes..and the only real 3D model difference is the leading edge slats which were replaces with a hard leading edge.

In a pinch the series could be fully represented with PeterD's current 3D model and a set of unique FM's.

Hey PeterD, Hi , great work on the 86, what about the cockpit? is it in the works or it is already done and I haven't found it yet? The one I have is using the YP-80 cockpit.
