Right, i'm gonna be as polite as I can be here;

1) CanonUK has not long had a baby, so call me a bluff old sentimental bast*rd but I have a feeling his priorities are elsewhere right now...

2) I've only ever made skins, and not many, and it is a painstaking, often frustrating and always time consuming process. Canon is making an ENTIRE BLOOMIN MAP, WITH NEW BUILDINGS, NEW TEXTURES AND PROTOTYPICALLY CORRECT AIRFIELDS. FOR FREE.

3) Every time one of you posts a flippant remark it demeans and devalues his work, puts added pressure on him to finish and hurry his work (=bugs) and makes it no longer a labour of love but a beast of burden.

4) SO LAYOFF. I'm anxious to see this creation too, I think it's gonna be fantastic. But as impatient as I am I know Canons working his nuts off at the mo so I sit back and enjoy the 100 other FREE goodies that are on offer.

Oh, and do I really have to point out the Beta Channel map? Surely that is good enuff to keep you happy for the present? No?

I agree completely with fenrir. Guys-if you can't be bothered to wait then make the damned thing yourselves! We have a perfectly playable and equally good beta to play with so I can't see why you need to moan. If we want to have a map that we can play right away with some nice missions included (and maybe skins) then we can wait. Canon is working on other stuff, so the reason why this is 'taking so long' is clearly obvious.

Download the beta version of the map, and my "Biggin Hill Wing" campaign. If you survive all of the missions, you can come back and go on with your rather unpolite posts :wink:

I must add that keep asking for the map, when in the same time, you are just playing and enjoying AAA mods without working on them, is disrespectful...
