ok am i doind something wrong - are you talking about the ixc ? because i installed the mod & looked in qmb & i cant see any difference?

So i changed a few things...

the only ixc i have in my plane list are...
SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)
SpitfireMkIXcCLP(GB)
SpitfireMkIXcCLP(Multi1)

your is listed as..
SpitfireMkIXc(GB)

shouldnt it be called...?
SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)

so...
i renamed your
SpitfireMkIXc(GB)
to..
SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)

& then renamed filelist entries like so...

3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Keel1_D0.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Keel1_D1.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Keel1_D2.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Keel1_D3.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Rudder1_D0.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Rudder1_D1.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Rudder1_D2.msh
3do/plane/SpitfireMkIXc(Multi1)/Head1_D0.msh

& it works !
thx for this mod!

Depends on the use. I've added a (US), a (FR) and a (Multi1) file, so that I've got the round tail for the GB, the US and the French offline, and for every nations online.

Ranwers, while we're at it, would it be possible to also have the small carburator intake of the Mk.V for the Mk.IXc? The large one used on the stock model were only used during the late years of the war, mainly on the IXe.

not true..

Well the first built IX were fitted with the small carburator intake, the later built use the filter, and the earlier were retrofited. So to fit a 1943 Spitfire IXc, the small intake would be really better.

Wow! Fantastic - but there is one other thing  ; all early IXcs had the broad cannon blisters of the Vb or Vc 4 cannon model - not the narrow blisters we have. Big Grin

(Sorry to keep bugging you Ranwers - trouble is, you're the only one doing this kind of work!)

- Corktip_14 - 26.11.2007

That's damn nice!!! Now I've got the IXc I've allways wanted, thanks a lot!! Big Grin Big Grin

Sheddan: Curiously, I've understood the "A ne a ne a ne!" without trnaslation

ranwers: It is not perfect yet... I can see no Czech marking under canopy and no letters like RY, NN or DU  I love this mod! It is fantastic!

Is my English accent in Czech really so bad? :?

Maybe we should open up Aircraft Model Mods download and Discussion section?

- SparrowThree - 26.11.2007

Awesome! That is exactly what I was hoping for. The small carberator intake should only be on 9Bs and very early 9C.

What about this:- tropical filters for 109E's and Fs. And Vokes filters for Hurricanes.
