yes, thank you very much left, this is a dream machine of the highest order Big Grin

and to Zsolt's question, yak-9 skins work just fine, i know canon has some nice skins on his site (http://www.canons-skins.com/other/yak-7.htm) that are supposed to be yak-7s but he made for the yak-9 that work jsut fine, to install skins for it make a folder in the paintschemes/skins folder named "Yak-7B_late" (without the " of course) and stick them in there and voila, yak-7bpf skins Smile

In your ...\PaintSchemes\Skins\Yak-7B_late put any skins what ever you want & here you go!

I say thank you for it the colour ideas! I suspected that those colours will be compatible onto the late version!
I believe it YAK colours all are equal to each other!

Congratulations for this brilliant MOD :wink: .

But I have a question, would not have been better, replace the last Yak-7B of the game, for this new Yak-7B?.

Thus, DGEN could include this new version in campaigns truth? But being in a new slot, DGEN can not make it true?

In your first version of the MOD, it did so, if I am not mistaken, replacing a model on the other hand, is not well.

One more question, what is the difference between, Yak-7A, Yak-7B and Yak-7BPF, regarding arms and motorization??? It's simple curiosity :wink:

Seem virtually identical, so in my opinion, I would replace one of the Yak-7B for your new model.

1. Directory YAK7BLata simply put into MODS directory;
2. Within ...MODS\STD\MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\air.ini right after (below) YAK_7BPF paste this:

Yak-7B_late air.YAK_7B_late 1 NOINFO r01 WINTER

3. Then within ...\MODS\STD\MODS\STD\i18n\plane.properties:

Yak-7B_late Yak-7B Late, 1942

4. At last within :\MODS\STD\MODS\STD\i18n\weapons.properties

MODS\STD\MODS\STD doesnt exist is it a typo? i have MODS\STD
also \MODS\STD\MODS\STD\i18n\weapons.properties this is not a folder and I can`t paste anything into it as per instruction marked 4

It is probably a typo. you got the correct folder.

It is a file that you need to open with Notepad and copy/paste the line of text from the instructions into it.
