Anyone know how I can alter the speed of the vehicles? Right now the convoy without any vehicle from the tank category will overtake the slower convoys, which is quite annoying.

In the technics.ini is all the information you need to alter the average and maximum speed of vehicles...... but this will only be for you own use....unless you give everyone your technics.ini with the new chiefs.ini......and we are likely to get clashes with other mods then....like the destruction mod and ships pack etc.

So I guess I need to add one tank vehicle to each convoy to keep them at a similar speed.

There is a major problem hindering progress. I have no idea how I can set the speed of a convoy, cause right now the lighter vehicle convoys will always try to overtake the slower tank convoys etc, instead of staying behind them.
Plus, there are still the towed guns and additional trailers missing. Lowfighter and FC seem to have made no progress on this.
IF anyone has a solution for this, I would be very grateful.

You can try to put an armored vehicle in each light convoy, like a T70 for russians, a PzII for germans, a stuart for US, etc... then you check in technics.ini that each of these "pace makers" have the same entry for "best speed".
It's not too akward i think, to have one of those lightly armored vehicles in any convoy. One can always meet infantry opposition, light armor is welcome in these cases.

For ship convoys there is a problem for different sized ships.
The bigger ships take much longer time to stop and turn then the smaller ones.
In SEOW missions we had many problems with ships hitting in each other and sinking.
In SEOW you can make Task Forces from ships from a group of ships.
So we had to put different sized ships in there own different groups and not use the old
all ships mixed up together thing.
This just incase anybody is trying to make naval convoys :wink:
