Trieste and peninsula Istra (Italian Istria, I think) was before ww2 mainly in Italian hands. After the war Istria or in croatian Istra, came definitely under Yugoslavia, actually under Croatia, but Croatia was not independent, so it was Yugoslavia then.

Also city of Trieste (or Trst in south Slavic languages) was in 1945 occupied both from allies and from Tito’s Yugoslav partisan forces, so it was briefly in Yugoslavia (or Slovenia which was part of Yugoslavia all the way until 1991) It was interesting situation, I will upload interesting read about partisans and new Zealand division in Trst in 1945.

This map is IMO very good in showing situation in Yugoslavia in 1930s

Avala: your info is correct, i just found an old primary school history book, man, i really did not remember the border line of pre-way states. Only after it. Shame on me! But hey, this project took care of that too Wink

Lejo: thanks!

The border is done, I'm still fixing the AI infrastructure on airports and once that will be done I'll give you an update (I'm also expanding bomber capable airports bases while I'm at it). Testing is done using B29 bombers so the airports should be functional for everything else too.

Nice to see so many people using it, thanks!

Hi. Thanks for trying it and for this error. Can you tell me where this happened? I think that it could be because water was above 0m and this could be the case. If you give me the location of where that happened i can try to fix it in upcoming update. Am still working with that AI points, really pain in the a** Smile

Not what it is in rl but i am no 3d modder. And there are 40+ of these on the map, you just didn't check the readme Tongue But on the other hand, i might have missed it's true position.

For other errors that you found, just post pictures and i'll fix them in upcoming update.

HOW did I miss it?!?

TY

Hehe Smile

Back to matter at hand: any pilots from Austria here that could provide any info regarding airfields in the region covered by this map? It's looking a bit empty.

Thanks.

Zuti

Thanks for this wonderful map.

As a mission builder I have to say I prefer airfields being on the bare side. It gives me scope to be creative and to use new objects that are created by other members of the community.

So don't worry about the airfields appearing empty........

Great map. It is real pleasure just fly around it.

Phil_K: no problems, i can add an empty airfields static. I populated them just because i had different experience from yours with some of the guys that were making missions Smile Always bitching about empty airfields. So, i'll take this under consideration and add an airfields empty static. Just hope the community won't get pissed off about another slot in their load screen Big Grin

I just hope it will not be too messy as the airfields as are now have some spawn points inside hangars, but they all have a portion that is not, so i guess it should be ok.
