I'm slowly working on a Panther Campaign for the KTO Map,

when i am on deck in the 3rd mission...i catapult ok but the rest of my squad all blow up one by one onthe deck...now im not watching so i dont know why but my hunch is when they unfold their wings they all hit each other and explode...help!
I have the carrier mod installed..is ther something i SHOULDNT have installed?

Make sure you have ShipPack 2, and that you DO NOT have the AI Mod.

i was having some problems with this campaign. i installed a new graphics card yesterday and it now runs like a dream

You need shippack 2, or you are having trouble with how you installed the KTO Map, or some conflict.
No worries, very soon UI 1.2 will be coming out and it will have the KTO map, and various KTO aircraft. Get the UI 1.2 when it comes out and you won't have any trouble with this anymore, i'm rather sure of that.

Also I renamed the campaign to be USMC KTO Part 1 because, there is a USMC: Frozen Chosin (UM KTO Part 2) in the works where the player flys the F4U again, and the Panther.
However, what my attention will go into next will be my first UI 1.2 campaign, USMC: Mig Mad Marines (UM KTO Part 3). Named after John Glenn's F-86, this campaign will have the player be one of the USMC exchange pilots that joined the 39th FIS to hunt migs in 1952.

They have been available from some time already on Histomod and aviaskins, and now on SAS (see http://specialaircraftservice.com/sas/i ... 795.0.html)
The mods include new hsitoriaclly correct meshes for wings, armament and antennas and also new ordnance (meshes and java files) such as AT-HVAR, incendiary clusters, 260lbs frag bombs, new fuel tanks, napalm and other.
The flares java file come from Flakiten's Neptune (I have slightly modified the meshes) and I used the basic frankenplane mod by Ranwers as an initial basis for the development of the new F4-U5N mod. I included the new bombs skins by Zorin with some modifications (100 lbs US bomb added and corrected skins for HVAR - USN version and USAF/USMC version)

The recognized bugs (already corrected on the upcoming final versions) include: oversized gunflash protectors nozzles, problem for dropping left central bomb on F4U-5.
The new version will include 100lbs incendiary bombs , corrected skin for incendiary "aimable" cluster and parachute flare bombs used as an alternative to the regular flares

I finally got around to playing this campaign after downloading it several days ago and I must say that it is amazing. I was about 7 or 8 missions in (I use "was" because IL2 didn't save my progress and instead of 8 missions complete it reads only 1 :roll: ) when I stopped. When I have time later this week I will be redoing the missions that never saved and hopefully continuing this marvelous campaign. I am really loving the Corsair attack missions. Nothing like launching off the carrier's catapult in a fully loaded Corsair then speeding to the target to blast some ammo depots or AAA guns. Your campaigns are always superb Dixiecapt, please continue with your work, it is much appreciated. I love how you stick to every little detail, the mission briefs being an example. They are so immersive I love it!
I'll post some screenshots later when I get back to playing. Thanks for this Dixiecapt. :wink:

Let me know if you got that KTO Corsair to work....
But, I need to talk to administrators, I don't think I can build a Campaign with this KTO F4U and offer the campaign here, since the KTO F4U isn't a AAA Mod.
Still, WOW, let me see some pictures of that Corsair PLEASE!
