Thanks for the appreciation of my campaign, but the map is all Cannons work - and it's first when you start working with this map in FMB that you realise what an EFFORT he has put into his creation. If there should be an Oscar for map-builders then he should certainly get one! Or even two - for the objects as well!
(Hey, that's a thought!!!! Starting a sort of Oscar 2009 for IL-2 modding: best new map, best new aircraft, best new skin, best new objects for each year. The those great modders among us really deserve that extra cudos!)

Is this the only place to find these? I have tried several times to log into this site since it is convinced that I have registered sometime in the past but will not give me any more info on this but will not allow me to open new account, nor will it send me any info to my e-mail.

Is there a way to convert any of these to coop missions? I'd sure like to try flying them with my squad.

Hello. I'm a complete newbie in MOD's of a IL2.
I wanted to know, one can use the ZUTI MOD rearm/refuel/repair, in this mission? I tried some changes to the FMB but unsuccessfully.
I researched here in the forum but could not yet understand how this new world of MOD's work. :???:
I use the IL2 with 4.09 UP2.01 and the MOD ZUTI 1.3 active.
Thanks,
Saulo Leite.
Thank you for this mission!

I have copied some of these to my coop folder and edited them to remove the "player" designation. They load OK as coops, but I won't know how well they work as actual coops until I test them with my squadron mates. I will report back here when we've had a chance to test them.

When I try to play the mission it comes up with an error saying "Mission Loading Failed:Landscape 'CAN_EnglishChannel/1940load.ini' loading error. Whats the problem and how to I fix it. Thanks!

Sniper, which mod pack are you using? If you have are using HSFX or UP, you should already have the Channel map(s) installed. This campaign requires the use of the finished version of Cannon's Channel Map, not the beta version.

Very nice campaign and very immersive indeed!!! my first attempt was unsuccesful :the Game won't save campaign progress because missing mod in my Il2 folder (stationary planes mod and of course all related lines in stationary.ini and technics.ini) Finally, once i've installed properly all the mods needed , i can fly agaist the *huns* above this map-jewel!!!
Thanx to Poltava for his great Campaign and my deepest gratitude to CanonUK for the BEST MAP so far!!

I have the following PC:
- Inteli7 CPU 920@2,67 GHz. 2.66GHz
- 4GB RAM
- Windows 7 (64-bit)
- ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2 GB DDR graphics card
My screen resolution is 1680 x 1050 and my "1946" settings are pretty much all at the max.
On the "Black Death" track I get an average of 63 fps (max 202 and min 9).
My problem is that I've started 2 RAF/BoB campaigns recently and have been fine (no stutters at all and I would imagine v good frame rates) for the first mission or two and then I've come to a mission where my frames almost freeze - I'd guess a 5 or so second delay between each frame!! The 2 campaigns were "Fighter Boys" (I think it was the 4th mission) and "Nine Lives" (the 2nd mission).
In both instances there hasn't been that much activity (I don't think!) on screen, but my mini-map indiactes a lot of enemy aircraft in the vicinity.
It baffles me that my PC can almost come to a grinding halt when it's a reasonably powerful machine (probably by early 2009 standards!).
Has anyone out there got any suggestions?
