That looks amazing! Confusedhock: You can tell it is still an early development because the road randomly fades into a field. I hope that oleg models all the roads. Otherwise, no matter how nice the map looks, it would never be as accurate as the map which the 352nd are making Wink

Incredible images indeed. Bravo for their dedication to this project, but...

...by the time this game gets finished, and released to the public, someone else will be coming up with a better one.
This is taking way too long to finish.

My sincere recomendation would be, Release the game as soon as possible and then let the MODS tweek IN all that needs to be done
properly into the new game. There are skin-makers, map-makers, airplane makers, and all sorts of great people worldwide that
are just dying to rip this game apart and make it even better than what it is now.

It shld be out next year. And also, realistically, it hasn't taken that long to come out. You have to bear in mind that the first (let's say) SoW trial was scrapped at around (I think) 2007 time. As far as modern games go, it's development has been reasonable. A few years is a while, but it only seems like a long time because we tend to include the time taken to develop the first version of SoW. I also think that this could be the nechmark for flight-simulators. I think Oleg has already been aproached by microsoft...Wink

I'll be telling some guys, "I told ya so!" I can hardly wait to get people's reaction to the changing weather conditions in the sim!

I am already drooling imagining a friend on final approach with a damaged aircraft, when really close to the ground he catches a crossed wind stream, crashes, and I laugh really loud at teamspeak.

Yeah, man, changing wind conditions. Wow! I am soooo looking forward to it. ...just thought of something: Can you amagine the combat pressure in guys as they see an approaching front in SoWBoB and they are frantic to win the battle before the front arrives? How about the thought that we will probably need a weather man in the squadron?!
