I understand what your saying, but should his first post even be allowed to remain? Sometimes inculcation is needed when a guy goes way over board. I don't feel that his rant was addressed well enough. Peer pressure is good.
Keep in mnd that he put himself out there. He posted. Why shouldn't I express my disgust? He did.

Good question, Nico! On the one hand, I understand their concern with a pre-existing MODS folder, because anything in there is going to override anything duplicated in the .SFS files, but why DELETE it, when simply renaming it would achieve the same result? That's how the UltraPack deals with it.

I've read this about UltraPack somewhere else. Hummmm..... Makes me wonder where this will go in the future with UltraPack, if you know what I mean

Ok, listen in.. I don't think his post really made anyone disgusted.. many people have a little rant from time to time.. it's not a major problem.. at least Nico put his hands up and apologised, not many do.
Its easy to keep posting up telling Nico just how perfect everyone else is and he had made a mistake.. I'm pretty sure he knows that.. now lets drop rubbing his face in it and move on.

I get what you are saying.
I already posted in this topic that I have made mistakes. I am not expecting perfection, nor do I claim to be perfect.
The whole world is changing, Trooper117. Peer pressure to avoid rants is going to continue to be on the increase all over the world.
This is not an emotional issue, it is about principles. I did not post because I was disgusted.
I posted a reply because a voice of reason is needed in every situation.
Many people reading posts in AAA get annoyed by what they read and don't post a response-sometimes they do.
Trooper117, I respect your position, however:
Who has the courage to speak for real responsiblility?
AAA can be improved if objections to the unacceptable are allowed to be posted. I understand that these must be with restraint.
This is the last post that I have in this conversation. Trooper117, feel free to Private Message me. I am a reasonable person.
VonBarb, it's nothing personal, as far as I'm concerned. I wish you well.

Guys please cut it out. Both of your arguments are reasonable, it's just slightly late in the day to tell him what he should have done. In hindsight it is obvious he should have backed his files up, and in the future he probably will, however nothing can really change what happened. So yes, let's drop this ok? I'll lock it for now, and if Von-Barb wants to post back with any update he can unlock it
