Yes, from reading all the complicated details, which usually go right over my head, I can see people have worked hard and done their homework on both sides. People should be prepared to compromise or it will be to the detriment of all.
Llke it or not UP is here to stay. As to which FM is better, we are all entitled to our opinions.

Before anyone jumps on me for saying I'm biased or trying to flame up a 'site war', I have worked on aircraft that were in Unified Installer 1.2, I have been a member here since 2008, but I also post at SAS and Ultr@pack, and have the administrators of all three communities in my MSN contact list
If you do your reading and follow F22 Raptors comments, the SAS buttons are the most inclusive around. In fact, it has almost every known flight model for every mod made to date from multiple sites and will work with MOST mod packs. Whilst someone has made the comment that there is a different FM between the AAA and SAS buttons version, lets examine this close. The SAS version is newer and is in fact taken from HSFX, which AAA now contributes to. Since HSFX is now the standard mod pack base, SAS have chosen to use those FMs where there is conflict. So to say the SAS buttons is different to AC installer on some AAA aircraft is correct, because AC Installer is now very out of date. THE only difference I know of (besides new aircraft FMs being included) is a few FMs have been adjusted in preparation of the next version of HSFX (in accordance with the authors of the mods they relate to).
Now I am not going to touch on the UP issue, but SAS does include many UP made FMs but where there is conflict with HSFX, the HSFX version is used. In addition SAS buttons is updated almost fortnightly and is made in full cooperation of the admins at SAS, UP, CheckSix and HSFX (remembering now that AAA are working closely with the HSFX team). And as Phillp.ed has correctly stated, all those who have contributed has put in many man hours ensure they are as accurate as possible despite the limitations of the engine.
Pablo, this is not to be offensive. Fair enough there is a language barrier and somethings get lost in translation, but come on. I won't go into previous issues, but please read between the lines. You can't come and demand something when you haven't done your research. If you seriously have a problem with the work someone has put many hours in, talk to them in person instead of flaring up arguments. Us modders appreciate it when someone finds an issue and provide a good detailed reference supporting it. We HATE flame threads like these.
So for now, SAS offer the closest thing to a 'Unified Buttons' which allows for people to customize their installs and still have online compatibility. Test it, they will work online without issues if you are using the 'online' version. If you are really worried about CRT=2 then run one stock install of HSFX for online and have a seperate for offline with mods. Many of us do that and it seems to work a treat and saves hours of hassle and threads like these

I think now we have a unified BUTTONS.
with the release of "Tiger 33's new Ultimate Sound mod" as well as with a "BUTTONS" itself.
As everyone will want to use the new MOD sound, I think we BUTTONS a standard for IL-2
it is compatible with HSFX 4.1, UP 2.0 and SAS 4.1
Download Only BUTTONS 1.76mb

TWO "universal" BUTTONS 1) OFF-LINE 2)ONLINE STOP!!!! (AAA, SAS, U.P. HSFX, C6 is not important) good for modders and for users. i play offline with sas buttons (two folders : AAA and up2.0 tiger sound, no problem). Long life AAA
