fly, i can confirm, you can change the name of the map_c without any pb.

see here...(it's a Jpg but with the right name)

Am I right to think that actors.static is still a mystery.
My map is still littered with bridges from the Singapore map.
There doesn't seem to be any way to get rid of them.
I am assuming that actors.static handles the placing of bridges and airfields? :?

Is there going to be a solution to new maps when running IL2 in lower settings?
As my other pc can't run il2 with perfect mode the maps look weird and spotty with new textures only close to your plane,futher away it's the old textures everywhere.

As JV69_BADA posted his map_c i tryed that with my hawaii and all it came up with was boxes of sea and boxes of land i prytry much cleared it all white out then drew a coastline but yer it came up with what i just said

small is 10km

box is 50x50km

*edit darwin international was RAAF and i think still is RAAF DARWIN

Right now the biggest map we have is 440x250km.

So you could fit Darwin, part of Timor, or whatever you want.
