I think I cannot help you.
I had a similar problem with saving campaign missions in this thread:

There are others in this thread with the same problem, but no one found a solution.
Hope you get some help, because playing this campaign in one rush isn't nice.
Therefore this campaign is too beautiful!

Same problem here. Tried re-installs, ensured correct aircraft were installed, skins etc. Still did the same as you experienced. It also did not play the video after mission 1. Seems it won't write the information to file.
I gave up and took the campaign off my drive.

I get the video for mission two, but sadly like you it wont record my progress and it's looking like I will be deleting it also..

Hi guys, I have been trawling this forum on the map beat section and may have found a solution, but can't check it out yet as I'm at work.
On this page CanonUK has a static.ini that is required due to missing objects in the current one.
viewtopic.php?t=5332&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30
and if you go to page 6 of the thread there is a zip file from CanonUK that will give a missing object that the static.ini was referring to.
I'll try it when I get home and let you know how it goes, unless of course you beat me to it..

Well, so far nothing I've done will get the video to work.
But . . . . so far I've managed to get the mission building to save missions I've created for the CAN_Channel map by doing the following . . .
Downloaded the static.ini file as recommended and installed plus downloaded the Blister.zip file as recommended around page 6 on the Channel map discussion referred to. There is apparently an omission in the original file that needs correcting.
I'm just fast forwarding through the first three missions in the next hour or so and will see what happens re: the saving thingy.

So far got to mission 5 and it has saved just fine.
Still no success on the video but I'm not going to bother with that anymore.
Here's what I've done.
1. I have CAN_Objects installed in FILES/3D0 (you may need to search the forum for it)
2. Downloaded and installed static.ini in FILES/COM/MADDOX/IL2/OBJECTS

3. Downloaded and installed Blister.zip in FILES/3D0/BUILDINGS/PACIFIC

I don't use the STD file but rather place the downloaded files into the locations as shown.

Dude, you're a life saver. Worked perfectly. It especially helped me out since I'm new to modding IL-2, and have no idea how the folder structure works yet. Never would have figured this out on my own.

I have one slight problem that I would like to get resolved. When I select the campaign all the ranks are in Russian. Is there a way to correct this?

By chance do you use the STD folder in your MODS folder?
If so move those files into it instead of the way I installed them.
Which mod version are you using?
I started with the AAA mode setup then further added items as they came about. I also use SFX 0.8 and the aircraft installer for that.
This is doable.
