I know that this problem has been addressed, but I would like to know, will be eliminated with the release of the final version?
It is not that bad, there is also good, like a billboard.
What irony.
FlushMeister, I offer you my warmest congratulations for the excellent work done and still in progress and are confident that the final version will be an excellent mod.
FlushMeister Many thanks for your work.

Of course it will he stated that he forgot to remove it so here you can remove and all is well Flush answers below
(when it comes to the tree pink error, please delete the "tree_01_16a.tga and 64 and 256 tga's in your "Flushys airfield textures/3do/tree"
they are jsut test textures that I forgot to remove, i'm sorry bout this, good thing I released a beta lol!)So follow what he said here and enjoy

Flushy,
I must say I really like your mod. The ground looks excellent in the parts where the textures do work, so please keep up the good work. The bad news is the "lead-black textures" bug is quite a gamekiller. Any news on that one?
Unfortunately I'm stuck to using DirectX for now(Windows 7 and Ati card -> no OpenGL), so Perfect-mode is not an option.

Herr Flush
I changed my IL2 settings to Perfect, and the problem disappeared, Reap was right, it doesn't concern the Perfect mode. Your mod is awesome, for an exemple the sea maps are far better ...
If you want, I could reset to Excellent and try to catch a screen of this bug.
Cya.

OK Flush, I had to roll back my driver and I have to use excellent settings(not perfect) because I have an elderly computer...
Here is the tree pattern I'm getting on excellent settings, the tree in the foreground looks awesome - but far away gives a "clover" effect that doesn't look realistic:
Any solution for this that you can think of?
Trees look great on perfect, but my rig can't handle it:
First time I've noticed black water on perfect settings...probably not related to your mod.
Also, on winter maps the new trees show up green - is there a way to "winterize" them?
- chas1963 - 25.01.2009
I have been giving it a spin and i think your definitely onto something here...I would love to see this in 4.09.
No complaints (yet_lol) just a support you posting. Thanks!!!
I have just one thought...maybe an option for adding the new modded "bumps" but not the colors and textures...this would just open things up for others to modify textures and stuff.
- Rowddy - 26.01.2009
it runs great on a 4.09 on my PC no complains here
only as mentioned before on wintermaps the trees stay green as of the other trees have a winter coat. Other then that minor detail it's a great asset to the game.
- chas1963 - 26.01.2009
Silly question (maybe)...
What do I have to do to get this to work in 4.09?

Where can i download White or Grey trees for winter maps?
I don't like the color of trees. I prefer the old ones, they are more realistic IMHO.
Anyway GORGEOUSSSSSSS MODDDDDDDDDDDDDD
- Rowddy - 27.01.2009
Hi Chas,
if you open your download you see a fb_maps folder this one goes into your MODS folder.
The 3do's folder with the "airfield and trees folder" goes into your 3do MODS/3do/..... and the the contence of airfield in airfield and the contence of trees into tree.
as far as i can tell you could also dump the whole download folder into your MODS map that should work aalso i tried and and the game doesn't CTD with me.

Well Flushy, Put the Mod in tonight and ran a mission from the Hellhawks campaign.
This Beta a very fine piece of work.Very smart idea.
Look what it does for screenshots
This is on a Samsung 19" wide screen

Hey everyone, sorry for the late reply,
I actually don't know why the trees i made replaces both summer and winter trees, because I only woeked on the "summer" trees and the winter/summer trees are different in il2, so I thought the winter trees would be un-touched for now. I'll look into it. one solution would be to remove the tree textures in the tree folder in my mod (4 or so tga's with tree texture on, but not WOODS, only "trees"
good luck!
RddR awesome! there's a map i never tried, and it seem to work good yes? it's always interesting to se how they work on different maps, because I have only tried them on chrimea, smolensk, and the net summer maps, and on servers on-line...
Post more if you have time!
When it comes to black water, strange trees and so on, I don't really know what has happened, so one thing would be as I mentioned above, to remove the tree textures.
Cheers

Just noticed, those trees don't look like my textures at all, in fact there's a few landscape textures that don't look liek mine either, hmmm

A q: is this compatible with vpmedia's Default Map Upgrade pack v2.7 or GW_Winter Mappack?
I use vpmedia's Default Map too, think FLushys's mod tree texture is too dark for overall map texture tone
VPmedia's tree texture, nice tree shadow.
FlushMeister, tree and shadow are too dark
My quick tuned one, wish to check the difference, tree color should be little more green and yellow. also note the shadow is too dark, I didn't tune it yet.
which tree mods or textures for those trees in the verious bocage
I don't get those trees?
