I just discovered this post by chance when looking for a F86 mod
I am really glad to see a map of the Canary Islands for the first time ever on IL2.

Yes,install into Files/maps

Or,create a MapMods folder in your Mods folder like this>
MODS/MapMods/Maps
and then install the map there
