I originally used just the db605 mod by itself and noticed the 410 sounds were missing, so I downloaded the UI sound mod and backed up my files folder and installed your files folder and got the same thing, no Me-410 sounds.

Ok , I didnt have this Ac , so ive just installed it into my UI game , sounds work fine , the A and B models use the Db.600.s and the D uses the Jumo 213.s , have you tried all three ? , the new Db sound package was designed and tested around AAA.s UI 1.1 with no problems before the upload , so ive got to figure that the problem may just be with the D model , but let me know....

Probably the dumb question of the thread ... where do I install the gryphon and db sounds?
Do I just drop the folders in to th mod folder or do the go into the files folder?

Was it a too dumb question?

You will find a flder in the Mods folder called "Spitfire Griphon Sounds" open it up and put them in there. Greatly improves the sound.

Jafa,
I have down loaded your UI 1.1 sound mod (from the youtube link) and I installed it per your directions and my game stops loading at 5%. I have just completely re-installed the game, and even deleted the directories to have a fresh install for your mod. But no matter what I try, it stops loading at 5% once the mod is applied. Any ideas? I gotta have those sounds! Please help
.

Did you ensure you took the new aircraft installer 3.8 buttons file and install it in your new GUI folder?............... that might make it stop loading, thats all I did. Just removed the files folder and put the new one in, replaced the buttons file with the 3.8 UI version. By the way, I never let the auto installer for the AC installer install the new files, I put it in a folder tell it to extract there, and just take the buttons file only. Otherwise you'll see stuff in your MOD's folder you don't need.

Thanks Jafa and BeoWolf. I tried the Aircraft istaller as suggested Beowolf, but it didn't do the trick. I think it probably has something to do with an update or something in the UI 1.1. I had re-down loaded the UI 1.1 two days ago because I couldn't locate the original down load file on my computer. Oh well, I will keep checking back for the new buttons file. Jafa your work is AWESOME! Your vids are the best! Thanks again.

HI,
I downloaded your sounds and they sound great, really throaty roaring realistic sound, thanks for your hard work.
I have a question though, what does the name Black six mean, where does it come from, does it specify something historicaly?
Poor old Black 6....
- rossmum - 27.07.2009
The name originates from the fact the AC has a large black six painted on it as ID.
