Poor Lampsy; that faking referee twat and the blind linesman; if the goal had been allowed things would have gone so differently.

The game should have ended 4-2, the woodwork shot ended in the net, but the goalie recovered it before the referee saw it in :-?

I agree with deutschmark,
Although i am German I was scared of being winner with only 1 goal more than england, because that would not have been fair. Since there are 3 goals more, I think this referee FAIL didn´t decide the game. But I would have preferred a fair game. As said, i didn´t want to have an unfair victory.

but the two counters in second half were just epic

For quite a while England played a very good match and I feared the worst.
If-what-when - is just pure speculation. We all saw the 2.nd goal - but one!
I think as well the result would be similar.

So England have been unceremoniously dumped out of the world cup but lets face it.... it was on the cards after the previous 3 matches what else could we expect when it came to facing a team of quality.....and what quality!! Germany where magnificent and now the stage is set for what will probaly be the game of the tournament.....Germany v Argentina.

I'm not bitter we got dumped out just disappointed so in true sportsman spirit........GO ON GERMANY..... take the cup!
