Hi all, sorry for not updating this thread for a while, been busy with work.

I got some work done tonight, and i'm wondering how to release a cockpit, how to make an installer, or should it just be a rar with the textures?

also, I've been workgn on this with the FW 190 A canopy mod, (that gives the A8-A9 and the D9 "flat" canopies and old armor plate, is this a popular mod? or is it best to make 2 versions? (different textures for the armor plate seat)

here's some images, I've also fixed the night textures, but they'e not very interesting to take screens of.

Let em know what's preferred, and I'll release the textures, might have to call it BETA though Wink

It looks very well!

I am not using the flat canopy mod but, I think best would be to have it compatible with both variants.

Thats looks so realistic you could touch it 8)

The attention to detail is simply stunning. Those textures are probably better than the ones that will be used in SoW:Channel Front or SoW:North Africa or something like that. You should be paid for your awesome work on this! I really hope they don't lock the cockpit textures for the planes in BoB or at least accept submissions. I really can't imagine a pit looking better than that.

Cheers! And a big heads up for this pit! Big Grin

I think it looks brilliant too. I'm not sure the the frames to the armored glass forward of the gunsight would have seen such extensive scuffing and paint chipping though. Apart from that tiny niggle, I'm totally thunderstruck by how good it looks. Big Grin

I think for a Beta Version you just need to make a .rar with the textures in following foldersystem:

files/3DO/Cockpit/FW-190A-8

A ReadMe.txt with a little instruction whould be nice. Most users know, how to install this textures, but some not.

Confusedhock: can't wait to sit in this cockpit. It looks so fantastic!

Amazing, simply amazing... Confusedhock:

IMHO would be better to launch two different sets. I don't use the flat canopy mod, for example.

Regards and thank you.

Willy.
