Yes, where are the old school files?
Be careful about comparing these ground based .50 cals with their WWII air mounted versions. Though they are the same gun, the air version's timing was different in order to produce a higher rate of fire. So if you are timing the sounds for IL2 .50 cals to these videos of ground .50 cals you are likely going to be off.

seen and pretty much have used, and edited all these videos. but I've re-uploaded the OLD SCHOOL FILES. so go try it out when you can.

I use the .50 sounds from CFS2. They work pretty well.

no, not in sounds folder, only samples. just in il21946_samples. and if you have sound mod. in your il21946_files_samples folder.

Checked all available samples up and NEW-OLDSCHOOL 50CAL is the best so far, imho.

I've tried to DL the file from the speedyshare link from both a Mac and PC and two different browsers. No go. I'd like to try it based on what the Youtube video sounded like. Anyone have the file hosted elsewhere?
