Behold my new 1/48 diorama: Johnnie Johnson has just returned from a mission. The tail of his Spitfire is clobbered, and he's explaining how it happened.

Bloody marvelous diorama! The figures are excellent too. I have the same set and have tried in vain to make my figures look realistic. You have done a great job!

Their main base is in Lowestoft. I love wandering around the massive warehouse deciding what to build next! The shop in Colindale is good too.

Hi Guys, what a wonderful set of plastic scale models you've all painstakingly built.
Reminds me of days gone by with the hours of patience and detail acquired. To see your pride and
joy displayed and shared with others with todays technology in this forum is an enjoyment.
Being 71, I have to move to much smaller abode and have 14 off 1/72nd vintage jets kits out of the
60's which I didn't build. Some are quite rare and most belong to my1000mph collection.
I would sooner see these go to anyone of you Fellas anywhere for little cost.
They are on Ebay ..UK right now. But if interested please e-mail me
A note for Sticky!!!. If this is illegal...please delete and please, please accept my apologies.

I decided to get back in to modeling after a 20 something year break. It all started when my parents sold their house & mum found a 25-30 yr old Revell 1/32 Mk1 Hurricane. Haven't started it yet. I went to a HUGE model shop not to far away looking for a Mk1 Spit & 109 E in 1/32, alas no luck. I ended up getting them in 1/48 by airfix (109 F though will have to find either an E-3 or E-4 some other time)
The 2 kits + 3 brushes + glue & 25 tins of paint cost me $140
hock: now I'm trying to con the wife into letting me get an airbrush. *sigh* now i just need the time to build them.*sigh*
