Thanks for clarifying. This looks like a great mod but so are Flushy's new clouds Wink

You can use flushys mod or no mod, this is seperate. This is parameters for the graphic files. There are no graphic files in this.

Rus Andrey is the real hero in this . All I did is tweaked some settings. You got to try the settings I posted and see the volume in the clouds in height. Just like clouds in a high humidity enviroment.

Real nice. Lots of variation. Thanks to you and Rus. Bit of a frames hit compared to the release but I like these settings best.

Which setting affects the whiteness or grayness of clouds if there is a setting?

Combined with the fluffy clouds and low clouds heigt this is lovely.
I have clouds from sea level and raising up to 3000 meters.
Now the lovely thing would be if they also could be implented with the windmod so clouds accually drifted in same direction as wind.
If the windmod could then be set up with an random wind speed/wind direction and also in 2 hights( it can accually blow from at least 4 different directions at once depending on hight) id be a verr yverry happy man!Smile
Ty for this lovely mod

Just come across this mod thanks to flushy and VP.

I was wondering what would be the best settings to get a really deep cloud layer? like described in the previous post. Would love to have a cloud layer a couple of thousand feet deep down to ground level.

thanks for any help

Posted in the previous pages some config to have a nice cloud cover... but still very buggy. :? , and client side.

My attentions was not to come up with the perfect settings but to show you how the settings was working to get a variation of volume maybe someone could tweak those.

ZP's Atmosphere mod is a good starting point (it modifies more than just the cloud textures). Download it, then open his DATA.cld file and start increasing the value called BASE_R_DISP (try 3.0, then 3.5, then higher if you like). The higher that value goes the better the clouds get, but your FPS will really take a hit so find the right balance for your machine.

Heres my own cloud mod files. They are tweaked for good thick cloud cover in Hazy conditions, with the minimum of FPS loss. You can experiment with the data.cld file to adjust to your own taste.
Consult earlier posts in this thread for how-to's.

with your mod(FPSboost) and after editing this parametr(i set 4 or 4.5) there are solid clouds in cloudtype 6+ Smile
without your mod it is unflyable Smile
