1. Put the file named "cztx_BurmaLower" into the Maps folder using this path: IL2 Sturmovik 1946/Mods/MapMods/Maps/cztx_BurmaLower
2. Add the following line to your All.ini which is in your Mod/Mapmods/Maps folder.
cztx_BurmaLower cztx_BurmaLower/load.ini
From the PDF that came with ctx_BrurmaLower:
INSTALLAION:
1. Put the folder "cztx_BurmaLower" in the MAPA folder (path: IL2 STURMOVIK-1946, MODS, MAPMODS, MAPS).
2. Add the line "cztx_BurmaLower cztx_BurmaLower/load.ini" to the "all.ini" file in the maps folder.
3. Add Delvpier's MODS BRIDGES to the MODS folder (see MOD_BRIDGES folder in download).
From page 5 or 6 of this thread:
New textures should be dropped here... MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_TEX/cztx_burmalower/land/summer/fsk_country_mount
From page 5 or 6 of this thread also:
FriendlyFlyer, just drop the fsk_country_mount file like this...
MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_TEX/LAND/SUMMER/fsk_country_mount
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
folder "cztx_BurmaLower"
Where exactly does this get installed? (exact path: MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS or MODS/MAPMODS//MAPS/_TEX)
MOD_BRIDGES folder
Where exactly does this folder get installed? (exact path: MODS or MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/ or MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_TEX/ or MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_TEX/cztx_burmalower/)
fsk_country_mountor
Does this file get installed here (MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_TEX/LAND/SUMMER/fsk_country_mountor) or here (MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_TEX/cztx_burmalower/land/summer/fsk_country_mount)?
I downloaded and extracted 1.4. I am getting the same error as Friendly Flyer when I try to open the map in the FMB. I have installed lots of maps and never had a problem. I followed the .pdf instructions to the letter and also the instructions on page one of this thread to the letter. The result was the same each time. I will wait to get your reply so I know exactly the path needed to place these files.
I believe that FA_Bong wants you to contact Monguse so that when they incorporate this map and the objects and textures in the new UI 1.2 the installation locations will be exact and there won't be any problems when the average player installs the UI there won't be any problems. I believe Monguse is helping with the new UI.
Look forward to this map as the screen shots look gorgeous.
1. Put "cztx_BurmaLower" into the MAPS folder. (MODS/MAPMODS/MAPS/....
2. There is a folder in "MODS_BRIDGES" named "dlv_bridge_mod" or something like that. Put "dlv_bridge_mod" in MODS folder.
3. Put "fsk_countrymount.tga" in the SUMMER folder. (MODS/MAPMODS/_TEX/LAND/SUMMER/.....
FA_Bong has been contacted and this map will supposedly be in UIv1.2
Friendly Flyer's problem was that he did not have the UI1.1 + Patch.
I am not a professional. I don't have a computer-related job. I taught myself how to use a computer and how to understand AAA's file structure.
This map is just something I did for fun and I wanted to share it with others. But I apologize if things are not clear enough.
If you continue to have problems send me a PM and maybe we can sort it out.

This worked like a charm. I meant no disrespect with my comments nor was I passing any type of judgement on your abilities. I was just explaining that as written the original install instructions were confusing as to where the files went exactly. I do have the UI 1.1.1 installed and was having a problem. The above is straight forward and perfect. The instructions included in the Mod DLV_Bridge were also precise. I had cztx_BurmaLower in the correct location and I had Mod DLV_Bridge in the correct location, but the biggest obstacle was the placement of the fsk_countrymount.tga file until you explained that. The map looks great in the Full Mission Builder and I can't wait to try it out. Thanks again for both the map and the quick answers to my questions as well as prompt replies to others.

Lower Burma map - RM-Rudder - 11.11.2009
Tex
This map is in 409b1m.
If I download this map and install into 409m will players be able play missions I have made in the 409b1m Vs. even if they don't have this map? Or will no players be able to join this mission unless they have this map installed into 409m.

If I understand your question right, all players must be using AAA MODS and have this map installed.
This is a MOD map using AAA MODS file structure and can not be used with the standard IL2 file structure.
So, even though it uses 4.09 objects and 4.09 is needed, you must also use 4.09b1m for AAA MODS.
Hope that answers your question.
On another note:
Thanks to the people who gave us the UI 1.2 this map is now available for easy install with the UI 1.2
Burma_Lower Spawning glitch? - Nicholaiovitch - 04.12.2009
Hi CzechTexan
- Firstly, thank you for a great map that enables historical AVG missions.
- There is a small glitch with spawning at Mingaladon if you use this map with DF (more than 3 spawning players)
- With Home base set as RW 27...only three players can spawn as the fourth "explodes" on spawning outside one of the main hangars.
- I have to be clear as to the scenario, as I'm not sure whether this has been corrected in further updates.
- Version of your map being used was in UP 1.8 with Zuti MDS active.
- I post this here as I do gather you guys are now all working togehter which is great news.
- It is a small issue but with MDS now so far advanced, it is likely that more missions will be built to replicate the attacks on Mingaladon of the 23rd-25th. Dec 1941 and this issue will become more apparent.
Thanks again for a great map.
