some issue with bombs - Cuccos19 - 16.12.2009
Hello!
I really love this mod, Spit is one of my favorite aircraft, and I really love especially this subtype. I got the answer for the manual radiator settings, but what about the auto propeller pitch control? And I found some issue with the 2x250lb bombs. Here are the pictures. The port side is a rocket projectile, and will "fly away" like a rocket for the weapon 4 button (that's for bombs) alongside the starboard side bomb, which of course will fall down. Would you fix this issue in the following version?

There are no combination of rocket + bomb on the next release. I was not aware that there was for this beta release either... Next release will be on Christmas Day. (This will probably not be the last version but releases from then on will be patches.)
Something for you guys to water your mouths on whilst you wait.... This skin will be included with the pack along with 1 or 2 other skins.

Just wonderful i have to leave the house and now i have to change my....
As i said before black spinner makes it look 10000 times nicer....

actually that black spinner is my mistake, this skin should have a grey spinner, the black spinner is for the default skin.

Jeez, that black spinner! Don't hang up with that so much. I would love it with red one actually, but don't really care the color of it. The only mistake is the wrong rocket projectile on the port side, when I want to use the 2x250lb bombs. The radiator and the prop pitch auto function will be fixed, I hope. That's all, anyway it's a great plane. The only thing what is not clear for me now, that why are there two kind of weaponary, I mean why did you created two different airplanes? The 4x20mm and the 2x20mm + 2x12,7mm. Shouldn't be just like the LaGG's systematic, when you can choose between the 20mm Shvak and 23mm VYa-23 on the same aircraft (LaGG-3 serie35 for example)? Anyway, on the 4cannon version the inner ones are Hispano Mk.V or Mk.II? Because they have short barrels and fairings like the the conventional 12,7mm Brownings.
It's a great aircraft, some improvement needs, but not too much. The 3D model is simply great!

That bomb loadout has been fixed. If you read the thread on SAS it will tell you about everything that has changed since then
Auto prop pitch - auto/manual at the moment, default is on auto but you can switch
Auto rads - at the moment it's auto/manual
The spitfire variants in game have a new slot for different gun combinations so that's why we originally did it that way. Has since been changed into a loadout to save space...
Uses Hispano MkIIs, no Hispano MkV's fitted to Spitfires (at least merlin ones anyway, very very late griffon one possibly) I believe the inner gun is rotated 90 degrees inside so its lying on its side and also fitted further in, hence the barrel doesn't stick out as much. Check picture on page 6 which also shows this.
There will be a skin of TD248 which will have a red spinner.
