Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - GueroFlex - 06.07.2010

Poor Argies they seemed outclassed and disorganized after the 2nd goal. Holland will go through for sure since Uruguay should'nt even be there in the 1st place. I mean come on why give a penalty kick when it was already a goal? GO DEUTSCHLAND!!!

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - Jambo - 06.07.2010

Congratulations Holland! Well done!!! !S

See you in the Final! 8)

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - GueroFlex - 06.07.2010

HAHA Uruguay got what it deserved! Divine Justice anyone?

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - fly_zo - 06.07.2010

divine justice for what ?

they did get their punishment for "handball" vs Ghana > red card + penalty ... fact that Ghana didn't "cashed in " is not Uruguay's fault

And it seams that we've got new "old Italy" football style with Holland > pressure on referees , Hollywood acting whenever possible and scoring mostly after opponents and referees errors . They used to play such a beautiful football Cry

Anyways , today i really can't decide my favorite ... Germany vs Spain , from what i saw so far they both deserve to win . We have "finale before finale " here IMHO and i wish both of them best of luck !

It's just the way the cookie crumbles Wink

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - Jambo - 07.07.2010

Well, today is a difficult day.
I'm a German and I lived in Spain and I love and respect the people!
Thats for the few I know - Germans and Spanish. 8)

To compare the two Teams - I've to admit that Germany have to win with at least 5:1 Confusedhock:

Jambo

yeah ... until dinosaurs which run FIFA and UEFA leave and new generation realizes that electricity has been discovered for a few centuries now

IMO any tournament where human error of referee can decide final score have no place in this century

and still, word is that FIFA plans introducing two more human referees in the future ... 6 possible human errors per game Confusedhock:

Anyways , this World cup will be remembered by jabulani ball , referee errors, vuvuzele horror and crime ( if our news agency can be trusted > prize replica has been stolen ... few of our reporters has been mugged etc ) all in all ... well done FIFA

I agree; they have screens around the stadium which show pictures of the crowd. WTF! They really do not need that; instead, the screens could show important replays which could help to make the game a lot fairer. No money would really be needed; even if they couldn''t afford it, a simple phone-call to a company hosting the game (like the BBC) would prove whether a goal was a goal! Big Grin

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - lederhosen - 07.07.2010

Salute,

well I can only shake my head.... Watch the world cup Rugby and learn.
They use a forth Ref who has all the camera views. If the game ref isn't sure he asks the forth ref to check and wolllaaaa... in a few seconds he has the correct answer....and with with no cussing and hot headed players around trying to influence the ref. I would hope, that with the millions of Euro's that the players recieve for this...let alone what ever money's are moving around this event, with nations being knocked out by players who seem to of lost all integrety (Henry, france etc) that this small step for mankind would actually help the next generation of adults understand what "Sportsmanship" is all about.

danke

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - AcesHigh - 07.07.2010

Rooting for Holland...they have to play in wooden shoes after all...

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - Jambo - 07.07.2010

Yes, well done indeed Spain!
I admit, I'm at least disappointed. It's strange how a team can change and play so differentially. Sad
So, we'll enjoy a game with wooden shoes and a muleta!
May the best Team win!

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 - Deutschmark - 07.07.2010

Well now you can all watch Das Wunder Von Bern, that is a great Movie about Germany in the 50's with struggling economy and how they won the World Cup.
