A little bit of weathering would add a lot to the very nice piece of work allready...
But I understand it's still WiP.

Spitfire Mk.VB still in progress, because I have not much time. I post no screens until it is perfect. It will be surprise
Bee: Good job! Try to add reflections of glass on the instruments - it looks really good. Much like in real plane...

Ignore the very wip rudder pedals
Hi Bee, looking good :!: just a little idea for you if you want rid of the red loading info without a heap of effort in photoshop.
Just a variation on the loading screen technique...you may already have done this.
Copy the background .tga you've set as the loading screen (the one your working on and have already taken a screenie of) into one of the mission folders NN for example.
Then after IL2 loads got to Single mission none and load a mission and take another screenie. This time the red loading info won't be there, but a dialogue box in centre screen will.
Now into photoshop and put one screenie on top of the other, rub out the bit you don't like and flatten the image or layers and that's it...red loading info gone

I am working on Huricane, slowly, as my free time permits, I even not finished my "shiny" mod yet
Here is some gauges, off course that looks worse in game. I have learned that lettering and numbers must be in bold or game shows it very distorted.
My strategy for tgas:
Where needed transparency 512x512 32 bit
and where transparency not needed 512x512 24 bits to save in "weight"

Avala, that looks great! The hurri is one of those that badly needs a facelift. Nice one.

Avala, jesus that looks fantastic

question to all... would it be possible to one edit your mods and place custom Pin-up picture somewhere in the pit? I know thats non relevant at this time ... i'm just curious

Can't do it on the Emil. The panel is rendered as the right hand side only, and the game generates a mirror image to form the left. Putting a pinup there would mean it would get displayed twice.

would it be possible to put the pin-up at the point the part is mirrored, so if you were to put up Half - it mirrors the image producing the other half

Folks, the whole KI-61 family has wrong cockpit color. The correct should be a tannish brown. Consult ANY trust references. Any takers?

It is posible to put a picture in hurrys cockpit, there is one small spot left of gun sight, I asume that was for gun sight data, but it is also good for some pic, or too put it instead some of the none working gauges on the left side of command board (of the pimp car  )
