rest to improve the textures...

Nice!
I still try and keep an eye out. Scanning stuff is a pain to do en masse, but if you have any specific areas that you are missing images of, let me know specifically, and I will see if I have images and scan them for you.

more specifically of the montains and the valley. Maybe also of his airport

I will look for you.
As for the
en masse, english is notorious for stealing words
.
That's why english has twice as many words as french, we STEAL.

nice
now, rest just to find a manner for extract this texture for place snow on it
- Martin98 - 13.03.2008
OK, i have now pass to a more realist texture!
Attu, after verification, have not volcanic ground like kiska. But,
there are dead grass under the snow. So, i have take 3h of time to isolate the texture Sk_fields_midland0 in the game on a flat ground, to repast on gimp (the thing who tkae the more time) and to resizer. And after, i placed the snow on . i think make a texture of transition between the texture where it have not a lot of snow and the snow texture for more realism.

I am already having flashbacks of Shemya, leaning into the cold wind coming off of the Bering, and watching a scwall blow in. COOL!

ok, few new thing:
new texture:
The pist and the taxi way in steel
- Tigershark - 21.03.2008
During the Battle of Attu a lot of areas were clouded with fog or low level clouds which pretty much obscured everything. It was pretty much a natural screen in many cases, which totally blotted out the Jap positions...
REQUEST
In your future screens, try setting the cloud level to the lowest you can *there's a mod which allows you to set it almost to ground level* and perhaps it will have even more of an alsaka feel than it ALREADY has...
!!!!!!!!!thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
