Yes, just put the Carrier_Takeoff_b4 folder in your MODS folder.

You can install this and other mods even if you've got UI 1.1, although servers now have the option of specifying which mods they allow, and some may choose to not allow you to connect if you have extra mods.

Maybe we'll get it in a future version of the UI. Right now it's still a beta. I still need to tweak a few things. And once this is stable and certificate's AI mod is stable, I"m sure we'll be able to get them to work together.

I've just started working on the next beta version of the Carrier Takeoff mod. Things have been a little crazy, but I'm hoping about 4 weeks til just the takeoff mod by itself is ready for public testing.

In the last post from Certificate (the AI mod creator) that I saw, he said it would be at least a couple weeks before he can start any more work on the AI mod. So you can figure at least a few more weeks beyond that before he's got all the kinks worked out of that.

So...to be honest, I think some version that combines the two mods is probably still at least several weeks away.

That's the problem when you have different people doing different things to the same game files. Sometimes two mods will bump up against each other. But I'm sure if the demand is there, we'll eventually work it out.

I dont know if it's the same for all, but if u use Ai1.7 + carrier mod then the plane will unfold their wing as soon as u start the game, so they will explode, instead of moving a little forward, clearing other aircraft and then unfold their wings :wink:

one problem, i set a carrier to have 20 f4us, and ithout they wouldent unfold wings, 3 seconds later they all unfold and alot of them blow up, they dont even move fowerd b4 unfolding! they just sit there and unfold and blow up people beside them, stupid, but fun to watch ^_^ (im not saying ur mod is stupid im saying that all those retarded pilots unfold there wings is stupid) tell me how to fix plz.

EDIT: is there a file I can delete if I dont want AI to take off using catapult ????
also I noticed that on jap carrier, when zeros are taking off, when removing chock they "spawn" to the ide of the deck, causing them to crash........ :?
