Looks like the order of which you used tha map_c tools' *.bat files might have been wrong. I had this once and wondered what the hell had gone wrong. I reconverted from my map_c.psd and all was fine.
Cheers, Neil

it might e the map_f.tga problem. Hight goes beyound sea level... I been playing with load.ini and stuff (trying to find nice textures and so). If i wanna use for excample FLY:z
Norway winter, do i had to find actors.static for that. If i just change load.ini and hit the save button and copy all the stuff from maps folder to my working folder, game crashes, when i try to load my map in FMB.

Could be two problems happening together.
First ensure that map_c.tga is correctly disected.
Is this problem most apparent near the map edge.
You need to use tile textures 30 or 31 to define the coast properly near to the map edge.
Working in FMB that would mean using:
Objects/Tile/coastsea or Object/Tile/coastriver
You may also be seeing a pattern repeating off the map edge.
The last 32 pixels will be repeated into the distance, so try to finish with the last 32 pixels at 90 deg to the map edge.
The problem with the new load.ini is most likely due to having a texture specified in map_T which is not given a texture in load.ini. Ensure all of the lines in the [FIELDS] section of load.ini have a texture specified. -- or compare with your original load.ini to see if any textures are omitted in the new one.

I found this. Very well done documentary about Scandinavia during ww2. BTW there are heaps of good www2 docs in that site.

Screenie of the Day:

The town looks nice! However I would avoid using those Kiev buildings which asume a triangle shape at distance (Toblerone shape, hehe, Phil_K trademark). Can't imagine how the creators came with such an idea :?
- kapteeni - 27.02.2008
I had to admid that town is not a scandinavian stlyle. I`m gonna use Norwegian and finnish houses and maybe some german buildings in final version. These screens are from test online version. Since there is no good data from satellite i think i rebuild Murmansk map and adjust terrain/ textures, so it will be look more interesting. Its gonna be a huge work. Good thing is that there are nnot big cities beside Murmansk and only few roads.
Few words about my test maps. I`m gonna upload them soon as WIP maps. I have a strange problem tho. In perfect settings they look great and in other modes i get weird effects in distant areas. Wrong colours and so.

kapteeni,
The winter map especially is awe inspiring. Nice work!
