Love the mod, but is there any way to get rid of the thick black smoke once the aircraft has piled in? It really does look out of place.

To answer your question, No. the game always had smoke do this. Because the parts just break up, it still is considered flying, so the effect will stay. No way to change this.

OK, just got this installed this morning and am very pleased with it.
The smoke when cannon rounds impact an aircraft look fantastic, very similar to actual guncam footage. It is one of those "must have" mods now - I couldn't ever go back to the old way.

yes it's a very good mod , but curiously working only on some planes for me and not for other , I had not test on all plane , but on japonese it's good but not on b17 for exemple !!
I respect the order one the modlist as you say , and I use jsgme for install
i use with other mod : josse , Maven , stuka 40 , and your other mod " smoke fire ".

I notice that after I hit an enemy and takes evasive action, while im trying to line up another shot I see smoke puffs. Maybee pieces coming of from stress? Is it just me that sees this?

Is their a way that you release the rocket smoke as a stand alone mod ?
I want to use the rocket smoke but not the new hit effects

I agree, I also want to get smoke from the rockets separately.
