1) i actually find the A-3 the best dogfighter of them all, apart from the D-9 i guess. you can manouvre and follow them,
2) of course you will lose easily in a substained turnfight
1)I agree on that point.
2) I disagee with that point however, I've found that with the A-3 and all the other A's. That if you enter into a sustained turning fight with any fighter that if you cut throttle to a max 0f 90-95% in order not to lose too much speed, disengae EN (when applicable) and engage combat flaps. I haven't any problems with closing it in.
Another maneuver that can cut the circle is to climb slightly roll into the circle center(45 degrees or even more, 120) and dive towards the center gaining speed. You can approach your enemy at 90 degrees and if he's not looking, zap him with a cross cut shot. In any case even if you miss you got him startled , so you roll over his back, and on his tail inverted and if you haven't lost too much energy you should be closer on his tail. to try again. Careful with this last maneuver at 100 m and with a full tank. It can turn out totally self defeating.

Flys like a dream.
More power available throughout the envelope..... High speed roll rate appears to be fixed (curve peaked at 200 kmh in stock version) ....
Lost energy more easily recoverable. At 500-660 kmh flies with better control
Noticeably better turner than any other Anton.
Sudden stalls are more pronounced, as they should be with heavy stick input. Aerobatics are a joy.
Externals are incredible.... A million thank you's

Something strange with DM A-3, if compare with other Antons, too many PK, too many simple plane explode.

this is such a dream aircraft. My congratualtions and thanks to the team who worked on this. Now the question is - if the A-3 is a pleasure to fly, why does the A-4 suck so badly?! (it's rhetorical, I saw the post on earlier pages stating the A-4 is not fully rated)

Of course he is comparing the A-3 with the A-4 here. I noticed too that stalls are more abrupt, but they feel more right than before (on the A-4).
And i found myself doing aerobatics just for fun everytime i had defeated the enemies in some quick missions.
Man, i can't wait until the whole A series is done properly. That will be just like a dream.

The 190-A3 was far more menouverable than the spit v. It was such a shock when first encountered and so superior to anything that the R.A.F. had at the time that the English just outright panicked!
The 190-A3 vs SpitV advantages are Speed, Climb, Roll, Dive, Firepower. Fighting in the vertical the 190 should decimate the spit.
The R.A.F. was going to send commando's in to france and steal one to learn its secrets but they never had to because one mistakenly landed in England. Once the technical advisers started tearing into the aircraft they found out that it was even better than they imagined! "For the first time the R.A.F. felt not only numericaly inferior but technologicaly inferior"-Hitlers war machine
By the way has anybody else noticed that when you land and power down the motor there is a BMW emblem on the front of the engine!
hock:
Great job this is the best mod yet and sorely needed so Thx to all the team that brought this gift

Quick one: I can't seem to get the outboard guns to appear on the A-3 when in game although I see them displayed in QMB screen when selecting load outs etc. What am I doing wrong?
Ok I figured it out ... I did not have the DEFAULT load out selected!
