I didn't see anyone answer this so here goes...
Open a text editor such as Notepad. Copy\Paste the above lines into it. Then "Save" the file.
DO NOT "Save As" or it will become a .txt file the game can't read. Name it anything you like, such as "Neptune Defense of Hawaii" and add
.mis to the end of the file name so it reads thusly:
Neptune Defense of Hawaii.mis
Now place the file in your US Navy Single Player folder. Path typically is:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Single\UN
Start the game and go to Single Player/UN and choose the mission and save Hawaii from that sneaky enemy sub.
And just a note...unless the "Mk53 Charge" loadout has some kind of 'MagicMod' effect, you can't really sink submerged subs. Now
there would be a mod...depth charge a sub and force it to surface where you can sink it with the usual ordinance.

RE: My Previous post; I just saw an explanation for mavyalex on placing that mission. Sorry to spam like that. Mods, you can remove my post if you like.
NICE plane! Installed like a breeze.
I found it interesting that you didn't need to add any lines to the weapons_ru.properties file but all the loadouts are there and they work.
I did notice though that air starts in the QMB, you need to let the plane settle down a bit as it wants to yaw around for a short period initially. No big deal but interesting behavior.
It does look like the spinners are on backwards. :? Another No Big Deal at the moment. Right now I'm having fun bombing the crap out of everything with it. I seldom look at the spinners from the cockpit. Targets are much more interesting.
Also,
Is there a void for making skins? Every version except US is a night fighter...that is black. The US skin is OK but I'd like to make some others.
What is the name of the skin folder? I saw a Brasillian skin for the Neptune. Nevermind, I just
R-E-A-D the post that Harpia Manfra put up about the Brasillian Neptune. (I'm a dolt, I'll admit it)
Thanks for this plane.

i have the same problem with my spinners... any ideas?
- Cpt_Biggles - 17.08.2009
my spinners look normal however they look like this when engine is runnimg
and this when engine is off?
- Boris The Spider - 17.08.2009
Simple explanation,
When the prop spins centrifugal force enlarges the spinners.
It's simple "raaid physics" really.
- Gallopin' Ghost - 18.08.2009
Capt. how did u fix it?

oh that's easy, the part of the skin for the prop cone in motion doesn't have the blue center. Check the skin to make sure that both the stationary and in motion part of the template are the same, then edit it so that it appears. takes maybe a minute to do. :o
- Gallopin' Ghost - 19.08.2009
not that... the inverted spinner...
- Stavinsky - 20.08.2009
Hi,
First i want ot thanks for the great work.
I have just installed that one and love it. But as a couple of people here i have also the propeller spinner that are inverted on
the plane. Is there something easy that could be done to correct it ?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Edit :
After some testing it seems that it's not only the spinner that is inverted but the whole blade and spinner
If the engine is stopped with no damage i have the blade and spinner at the correct place.
But when i get the engine on and starting to turn the couple blade/spinner are inverted like 180 degree.
And if i break one of those blade by touching the ground for exemple, the couple blade/spinner
keep it's inverted position (looks funny to have the blades bent correctly if looked in perspective
of the blade/spinner couple, but the position make the blades end bent forward when looking
to the whole aircraft).
In hope i gave enough information to have someone guessing what's wrong there, and what
it needed to be corrected.
Again thanks for that plane, a nice one to play and see even for the little trouble happening there.
Neptune Spinners - oldschoolie - 21.08.2009
I have the same problem with the props...the nose of the spinner against the engine and the base leading...looks very odd and spoils what is otherwise a wonderful effort. Assume there must be an easy fix to a file or files within "Plane". Does anyone know how to do it, please?
