Great Balls of Fire - Riddle_of_Steel - 09.08.2007

Greetings... Eagle Squadron

For all you Yanks out there who pay your taxes for the Arsenal of Democracy, every once and a while there is a slight mishap. I do not know the fate of these brave men, but I know they are working hard to keep our country safe...

It's a bit easier in PF to simply re-spawn....

The men and women in uniform are the bravest I know... I SALUTE YOU!

Nice to hear that we are appreciated sometimes, cause all to often it does not feel like it.

Actually the last pic is of an F111 I think, and it is dumping and burning fuel, not suffering an accident, it's on purpose...

It is an F-111.

It's a technique called "torching" that the Royal Australian Air Force do to show off at air displays. They dump fuel out of the aircraft, the release valve is between the exhausts, they then kick in the afterburners and ignite the fuel stream!

I saw them do it once at IAT at RAF Fairford a few years ago.

Very spectacular! You could feel the heat on the crowdline!....I'm not kidding!!! Confusedhock:

Cracking photo of it too!

Idk its either a F-111 or a Panavia Tornado GR.Mk.1a.....but most likely an F-111

- HH_Cipher - 24.12.2007

Its a F111, Tornado's have a plump rounded nose.

Ok the only way it could be a Tornado is the Swing-Wing technology

u play Ace Combat?

It's a F111C....Trust me 21 years in the RAAF as Airfield Defence Guard (ADG) I've seen heaps of these fuel dumps.
